Real time motion capture of multiple movers

What is Motion Capture?

Motion capture (performance capture) is becoming popular in many fields ranging from medicine and biosciences to entertainment.

The most familiar uses of motion capture in entertainment are in video games and hi-tech movies where motion capture data is animated for the creation of life-like characters. However, most of these applications involve off line motion captures of single movers. The captures happen in highly controlled environments set up specifically to achieve the best possible motion capture results.

In contrast, everyday human experience and arts performances are in real time, may involve multiple movers and happen in busy environments that serve many functions.
