robot with internal accommodations for supporting and viewing a dish of bacteria, fitted with a remotely moveable web-cam for observing external environment and piston driven legs for semi-autonomous movement. Designed and built for "Eighth Day" installation with Eduardo Kac.

24 pan-and-tilt pointers built for Ron Kuivila. Responded to video-sensed human presence in gallery with a mix of directed and autonomous behaviors.

Mnemonic Devices

Motor-driven pendulum with LCD video panels at top and bottom, which switched looping images on each swing. Fully self-contained with chip playback. Can't find good picture of just pendulum( but I built the seesaw too, which was also a video-switcher).
